Haircuts, what are the lengths and the styles that will be 'trendy to wear' during the warm season of 2010? As the official haircare sponsors of London Fashion Week, the TONI&GUY Session Team work their magic backstage on over 20 catwalk shows and presentations each season. While working on the Spring/Summer 2010 shows the team created a series of inspiring, trend-setting hair. Hot for 2010 includes classic ballerina buns, big feminine voluminous hair and a focus on texture and finish, whether it is the slicked back wet look or polished and groomed with natural movement.
And what about the hairdos for long and for short hair?
This season, hair is about being playful and rebellious so if you have long hair try braiding it. If you feel braiding is too twee then try a fish tail plait for a rougher, edgier look. As for short hair, it is about movement and texture, so make sure hair has slight volume and doesn't lie flat to the head.
A 'do not' advice for our readers.
The mistake they should avoid if they want to have a trendy and modern hairstyle this summer. Do not neglect your hair in the summer. This summer, it is all about beautiful healthy hair and prolonged exposure to the sun tends to dry it out.
Keep hair in perfect condition. Protein Hair Creame (Suggestion: Himalaya Hearbals which is available at most Guardian Outlets) it contains UV Sunscreen to act as a shield against harmful rays and colour fade.
(Adversus, 2010)
Based on the Fashion info above, BIG HAIR is definitely in fashion now. There are few ways to achieve fluffy and airy hairs. Back combing, curling and straightening are some of the options, just to name a few. Nevertheless, today I'm showing you how to achieve textures, movement and volume by just using straighteners. Do take note that back combing your hair too often may cause you to have hair thinning over prolonged period. Before you begin.....
Items you need:
- Hair Clips
- Straighteners
- Heat Protective Spray
- Crafting Clay (as in video) or Hairspray (I would reccomend extra hold if you're going out for a long time)
- Straightening Comb (it is not used in this video, but I highly reccomend you to get one for it will allow every strand of your hair to be straightened and of course looked more arranged; We are selling it for RM15)
